Scene Outline
The rehearsal schedules sometimes make reference to scenes instead of individual roles. 
Below is the list of roles in each scene.  All roles in a scene are to be at rehearsals for each scene.


ACT I

PARTY SCENE
A beautiful Christmas party full of dance and merriment with Clara's family and friends. Clara's mysterious Uncle Drosselmeyer ariives at the party and gives her a magical Nutcracker as a gift.

TRANSITION SCENE
After the party, when Clara is asleep, Drosselmeyer & the magical Nutcracker begins to transform her dreamworld into a strange place with giant Christmas trees, swirling cookies & candy and where party guests are changed into Rats.

BATTLE SCENE
Clara's dream has turned into a nightmare battle between the magical Nutcracker, his vanguard & the giant Rats.

SNOW SCENE
Drosselmeyer sweeps the nightmare away and replaces it with an enchanted winter wonderland with a beautiful Snow Queen and snow flurries that come to life.

ACT II

OPENING
The processional annoucing Clara's departure from the land of snow and the wonderous mascots of lands to come.

Clara returns from her amazing dream world adventure, back to her own time where the Nutcracker Prince is transformed back into a toy.
